Mark Coleman

Vice President of Strategy and Operations

Mark Coleman graduated from Methodist University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration as well as a concentration in Professional Golf Management. Upon graduation, Mark followed his passion and worked under the tutelage of Bill Hughes and the PGA Tour for several years as a golf professional. After a few seasons of golf lessons, and the daily grind of a club professional, he chose to hang up his golf shoes to pursue an entrepreneurial opportunity in the security industry. Although the change of pace from golf to electronic security was what some would say “drastic” – Mr. Coleman was up to the challenge.

After the sale of his security company in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mr. Coleman and his wife Michelle relocated to Charlotte, NC to pursue fresh opportunities and warmer weather.

Mark’s success throughout the years has been a product of his self-motivated and growth-oriented personality. He has consistently built relationships, trust, and value through effective communication and leadership-by-example. His colleagues would add that his extreme detail-oriented behavior accompanied by his aggressive problem solving skills separate him from the pack.

To that end, Mr. Coleman was recently awarded the 2011 Economics and Business Alumnus Award by the Center for Entrepreneurship and now serves on the advisory board. Furthermore, Mark is a founding member of the Charlotte MU Alumni Chapter where he drives awareness and support to his alma mater.

With an extraordinary love for life and others, Mark forecasts many years of continued growth and accomplishment.
